Plans, packs and billing

How to upgrade, switch between monthly and yearly billing, add or cancel an Assistant pack, and what past-due means for your account.

  1. 1Go to Settings → Subscription → Manage billing.
  2. 2To upgrade from Starter, pick Maker or Vendor and choose monthly or yearly. You're taken to Stripe, our payment processor, to pay; your plan activates as soon as it goes through.
  3. 3To switch an existing plan between monthly and yearly (or move from Maker to Vendor), click Manage billing — this opens Stripe's billing portal where you can change plans, update your card, or download invoices.
  4. 4The Assistant pack is a separate subscription from your plan — that's two charges on your card statement, not one. Add one from Settings → Subscription, or from inside the assistant panel when you run out of allowance.
  5. 5Cancel the Assistant pack the same way as your plan, through Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the pack keeps working through the end of the month you already paid for, then the assistant stops answering until you resubscribe.
  6. 6Cancelling a plan works the same way: you keep Maker or Vendor features until the end of the paid period, then your account drops to the free Starter plan. Your data is never touched.
  7. 7A 'past-due' status means Stripe tried to charge your card and it did not go through. Stripe retries automatically for a short window, and your plan keeps working while it does. Update your card from Manage billing to clear it before the retries run out — if they do, the subscription ends and you move to Starter.
  8. 8Only the account owner can buy, change or cancel a subscription. Other roles can see the current plan and billing status in Settings → Subscription, but the buttons are owner-only.
